Sheltered from the midwest weather, the trolley station comfortably accommodates an assortment of public activities for all to enjoy.
Amenities: Includes all-season indoor and below surface parking and rooftop gardens vistas
Downtown Post Office, The New City Hall
Kenosha’s City Hall, which is currently located at 6th Ave and 52nd Street could be relocated to the existing US Post Office building on Sheridan Road and become part of the overall Civic Center environment. The west side exterior of the Post Office facing Sheridan Road (shown below) now becomes an appropriate architectural facade representing city government. Relocating City Hall becomes part of the requirements and master plan for the PIAZZA developers.
Post Office city centered
As our digital medium of information increases, the US postal system continues to be downsized, rethought and consolidated—an efficiently designed and greener US Postal facility could be moved towards the middle of the city.
